Where MOVE comes from
Proven on the trail. Built at the Pentagon.
MOVE isn’t theory. It’s the road Krystalore has run herself — and the curriculum she built for the entire military.

From a wheelchair
to 28 marathons & a 50-mile race

The Start Line
In a wheelchair, mid NFL season
In the middle of the NFL season, a rare form of rheumatoid arthritis put her in a wheelchair.
The method
She studied her way back
Mindfulness, nutrition, movement and active recovery — the M.O.V.E. system she teaches now.
Mile markers
28 marathons
One finish line at a time, from a wheelchair to marathon after marathon — 28 of them.
Her crew
Six months with an Olympic athlete’s coach
Her 50-mile race was her most challenging, most successful and most prepared-for race. She trained for six months with an Olympic athlete’s coach by her side the whole time, and she was featured in a documentary. She credits coaching, daily check-ins, nutrition, mindfulness, community and connection.
The finish line
The Spirit Award — 50 miles in 9:08
The race director picked her for the Spirit Award: she carried the American flag for the last 4 miles up a mountain, still smiling after 50 miles in 9 hours 8 minutes of nonstop running.
The next line
Cancer survivor
When cancer came, the same system helped her bounce back quicker.
