The Seven-Day Mission-Ready System

Seven disciplines, seven days. Each one is a complete, self-contained workshop your unit can book on its own — and run in sequence they compound into a full leadership development program. Start where the need is greatest; there is no prerequisite.

How it works

Standalone by design. Cumulative by choice.

Every day stands on its own — a unit can book Day 6 without ever having seen Day 1 and get a complete workshop. Run in order, each day quietly assumes the vocabulary of the one before it without depending on it, so the whole becomes considerably more than the sum. Most units start with one, then book the rest.

The curriculum

Seven days, seven disciplines

Emotional Intelligence
1

Emotional Intelligence

Lead yourself before you lead anyone else.

Rank gives you authority. Self-awareness gives you influence. This day builds the four capabilities that separate leaders people follow from leaders people merely obey — knowing what you feel, managing what you do with it, reading the room accurately, and using all three to move people.

  • The Self-Awareness Audit
  • Regulation Under Load
  • Reading the Room

Resilience
2

Resilience

Recover faster. Sustain longer. Break less.

Resilience is not endurance and it is not toughness. It is the speed at which a person returns to baseline after load. This day treats it as a trainable capacity with mechanics — stress, recovery, meaning, and connection — rather than a character trait people either have or lack.

  • Stress Is Not the Enemy
  • The Recovery Deficit
  • Cognitive Flexibility

Communication
3

Communication

The conversations most leaders avoid are the ones that decide everything.

Most unit dysfunction traces back to a conversation someone did not have. This day is almost entirely practice — hard conversations, clear direction, real feedback, and the listening that makes any of it work. Participants talk more than the facilitator does.

  • Listening That Changes the Outcome
  • Clear Direction Under Pressure
  • The Hard Conversation

Whole-Person Leadership
4

Whole-Person Leadership

You cannot lead half a person. They bring all of it to work.

People do not leave their finances, their marriage, their health, or their grief at the gate. This day equips leaders to lead the whole human being in front of them — with genuine care and clear boundaries, and without becoming an untrained counselor.

  • The Whole-Person Model
  • Care Without Overstepping
  • Referral and Resources

Human Performance
5

Human Performance

Readiness is physiological before it is anything else.

Sleep, load, fuel, and recovery are not wellness topics — they are the inputs that determine whether a leader can think clearly at hour fourteen. This day treats the body as mission equipment and gives leaders the levers that actually move cognitive and physical output.

  • Sleep as a Weapon System
  • Load, Adaptation, Overtraining
  • Fueling for Cognitive Output
  • + 2 more modules

Team Development
6

Team Development

Trust is built on purpose, or not at all.

Groups do not become teams by spending time together. This day covers the mechanics — psychological safety, role clarity, accountability, and the deliberate work of taking a group through the stages every team has to pass through to become effective.

  • The Stages Every Team Passes Through
  • Psychological Safety
  • Role Clarity and Ownership

Leadership Psychology
7

Leadership Psychology

Why people do what they do — and what that means for how you lead.

The capstone. Motivation, influence, decision-making under uncertainty, and the cognitive biases that quietly degrade command judgment. This day turns the practical skills of the previous six into a model a leader can reason from when the situation is one nobody trained them for.

  • What Actually Motivates People
  • Influence Without Authority
  • Decision-Making Under Uncertainty
